I just returned Thursday from a road trip to South Tampa to further explore its craft beer scene, and I’ll have lots to report back from it.
But as is typical when I leave town for a few days, I’m way behind so this week’s Beer Bites mostly will be a quick list of events this weekend and in the near future.

- The Boca Brewfest Craft Beer Tasting will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Crown Wine & Spirits Boca Raton.
- The Dr. Philips and UCF World of Beer locations in Orlando will have free crawfish boils starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.
- The Dunedin Brewery will hold its 15th Anniversary Party & Pilsner Release on Saturday from k11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- The Art of Beer event will be Saturday starting at 10 a.m. at the Riverside Arts Market in Jacksonville.
- The Bricks of Ybor will hold its one-year anniversary party Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m.
- Abraxas Lounge in South Beach will feature some beers this weekend from the Thornbridge Brewery, an up and coming craft brewery in England.
- Racks Downtown Eatery in Boca Raton will host a Shipyard Beer Dinner on Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m.
