Big news today from Founders Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The news site mlive.com reveals that the brewer of Kentucky Breakfast Stout and other fine beers has announced its fourth major expansion in its five years of existence.
Here’s the exciting part for Florida craft beer geeks:
“Next year, the company expects to produce about 175,000 barrels of beer. Founders also plans to expand distribution to other states around the southeast, such as Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia.” (emphasis mine).
