Beer Festival Will Benefit Hospice

Image courtesy of Hops for HospiceThis one almost slipped by, but luckily I saw a mention of it on Facebook and found out more.

Luckily, I say, because this beer festival will help out a local branch of one of the most selfless organizations out there, and there are still tickets available.

The third annual Hops for Hospice Beer Festival will be Saturday, October 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bright House Field in Clearwater. More than 120 beers will be available for sampling. For an admission charge of $25 in advance (there’s a $1 service fee for ordering online) and $30 at the gate (if there any left), festival-goers will get a souvenir sampling mug and unlimited tastings.

Proceeds will benefit The Suncoast Hospice Foundation. Even if you’ve never needed to call on Hospice to help care for a loved one, chances are you know someone who has, so you know Hospice provides a valuable service to the community.

For more information, visit the Hops for Hospice website.
